We forage wild mushrooms to create original mushroom spore prints. We experiment with temperature, humidity, and light to produce unexpected images.

Spore prints are, in essence, air currents made visible.

But spores fade over time, so we preserve and enlarge the images as limited-edition, full-color photographs printed on archival, museum quality paper using pigment inks.

Original spore prints are as small as 6” x 8”. The photo prints are up to 40” x 55”.

‘Imperfections’, such as insect tracks, are welcomed and included. Our fungi produce orange, brown, black, white, and even pink spores.
